The site was grazing pasture until the sea wall breached in 2016.
It is being allowed to establish without further intervention but saltmarsh vegetation has started to colonise the site.
The landowner has been able to enter the site into Higher Tier Countryside Stewardship scheme with support from the EA and Natural England.
