For this project there were two compartments.
Compartment A involved partial old dike removal ((160m, approx.. high water level) and inception of a tidal creek.
Compartment B involved managed realignment (dike removal to surface level; 170m) with an inception of a tidal creek.
As a result of this scheme there was a reduction in the seawall length (old v new defence: Old: 0.62km; New: 0.96 km).
