This involved three sill breaches: two to the main estuary (ca. 50m each), 1 to a side arm (30m); invert level of all breaches initially at -0.5mMHW, now 2 at MHW & 1 (to side arm) at -0.2MHW.
As part of this scheme there were excavations of dumped dredge spoil, grading to create lagoon and intertidal habitats (further dredging required in 2004 due to higher than expected sedimentation).
