Project Description Summary

Russell’s Lake is a large and deep channel in the center of Langstone Harbour. In September 2021, 0.1 ha of oyster reef was created by deploying cultch to the seabed with an initial deployment of 15,000 flat oysters, followed by a further 21,000 flat oysters in March 2022. This restoration activity was delivered by Blue Marine Foundation.
